Once upon a time, I moved into a town. I started a new job and after a few weeks I wanted to go out with some of my new colleagues. We were all new, we didn’t know any places for dinner. Of course, we could have just tried a random place or google it, but before we did, I decided to ask the only person I knew apart people from work.
He gave me some tips but then he added: “For me, the best restaurant in town is my house.” I still have to laugh about how funny and true this is. Where else should we eat better than at home, where we know exactly what we put into our meal? This especially applies for gluten free cooking and baking… and this is how the Best Baker in Town was born.
I’ve been seeing a lot of baking videos on social media and I noticed two special categories. One category is made by fascinating delightful desserts which I want to eat, but are so difficult to make that it’s basically impossible to make them without professional equipment. The second category is cakes created with ridiculous amount of things nobody really likes, like a thick layer of fondant on a cake, for example.
That’s why I don’t want to do anything like that. I want to share recipes for desserts you can make at home and enjoy them with your families and friends with a cup of coffee or tea. Because the real homemade cakes deserve a comeback 🙂
Some of them naturally, some of them are gluten recipes converted into gluten free ones (usually after several fails).
That’s it! If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Enjoy!
